Group Classes

Why are group classes awesome?

CLASS OVERVIEW

There are many benefits to attending group classes. At Tone to the bone we aim to offer the tools to get fit, create new friendships, develop confidence and learning in a fun and friendly environment.
We offer classes in the great outdoors in the summer months to encourage outdoor activity and the feeling of being at one with mother nature. Outside classes allows for more space and creativity of lessons.
We encourage children to come along use the open space to and witness at an early age the importance of being active.
As little as 5 mins per day of outside activity has been proven to improve self esteem and improve mood (Barton and Pretty 2010).
We offer indoor classes in the winter to help keep you motivated and consistent with your training. Winter training means you will use different types of equipment than you would outside. This will help you become familiar with exercise equipment and learn how to use it safely.

WARM UP

Our classes are tailored to give you a whole body workout. You will always be warmed up using a dynamic warm-up preparing the muscles for the exercise they are about to undertake. You will always have a cool down to help the body to physiologically come back down to its relaxed state and lengthen the muscles through developmental or static stretching.

CLASS THEME

The main theme will consist of high intensity exercises designed to burn calories into the evening and push your body to your own individual limits. We will use both the outside surrounding area as well as our exclusive gymnasium, we are equipped with the latest equipment to ensure you stay focussed and never get bored of the same routine.

CLASS METHODS

We will use both the outside surrounding area as well as our exclusive gymnasium, we are equipped with the latest equipment to ensure you stay focused and never get bored of the same routine.
